Responding to a growing national demand for millwrights

Millwright, Level 2, is the second installment of a four-level curriculum for a standard millwright apprenticeship program. Over the series, trainees learn the components of mechanical systems and get step-by-step guidance in installing, removing, troubleshooting and maintaining them.

In the 4th Edition, NCCER’s Millwright curriculum moves from five to four levels, to fit a standard four-year industry training program. Content updates in Level 2 reflect modern tools and approaches, with a more complete range of precision measuring tools, as well as new content on oxyfuel cutting and plasma arc cutting. Learners will also benefit from a more focused approach to job skills.
